    Product Information

Following the framework established by 2000's Pokémon Stadium and its 2001 sequel on Nintendo 64, Pokémon Colosseum lets players take their prized creatures from Pokémon: Ruby Version and Pokémon: Sapphire Version so they can fight in 3D on GameCube. Multiple arenas are available to select from, and players can enlist their Pokémon in multiple tournaments against computer-controlled teams or against friends. The new four-player feature found in both Game Boy Advance titles has also made the transition to Colosseum, with two teams of two battling each other on the same screen. To play the game with four players, each contestant must link his or her handheld to the GameCube via the GameCube -- Game Boy Advance Cable. With both Game Boy Advance games, players can import over 200 Pokémon to compete on GameCube.

      • Fun Pokémon Console RPG with Great Animations

Though the catching system tries something innovative and falls a little short, Pokémon Coliseum is still a must have for Pokemon fans with Gamecubes, and is bolstered by its graphics, different storyline (and a cool new perspective as an anti-heroish guy, not a 10 year old collecting badges), quirky bosses, and GBA-Gamecube connectivity which allows you to obtain several rare and even event only Pokémon from this game in your GBA titles. Some may find battling repetitive, but I found it engaging, especially thanks to the great soundtrack in this game. This isn't the best game on Gamecube, but it's definitely a fun, worthwhile game.

      • Must have for die hard Pokemon Trainers trying to catch them all

This is not a game! It is a bonus disc with bonus material to promote the release of Pokemon Colosseum and a Pokemon movie. HOWEVER, it also includes "unlimited" Jirachi's for die hard Pokemon Collectors. This is the only way to get a LEGITIMATE Jirachi in the US. It requires you to have a GBA or GB SP and a copy of Ruby or Sapphire to receive the Jirachi. If you want to complete you Pokedex legitimately - you need this bonus disc. I will not proceed to swim in my many boxes full of legit Jirachi's!

      • One of the best games i ever purchased!

I so upset when i purchased a gamecube and went to play my game i have owned forever (pokemon Coliseum) and could not play it bc it would not work. All of my other games worked fine so it was obviously not the system. To make a long short, after searching and searching i finally found a copy on Ebay! I was kind of skeptical at, but when i inserted the game into my gamecube and it came i could nothing but smile. Not only was i able to get one of the best games i have ever played on gamecube but i also purchased it a really good price! I am super excited to say the least.

      • Pokemon Colosseum

I enjoyed playing it very much when I first got it. I dont feel like it was worth the $ 45.00 I spent on it. The graphics are great for gamecube standards. It doesn't have a large variety of landscape on it. But an over all veiw it's a descent game.

      • Love this game.

Play Pokemon Colosseum as a renegade member of team Snag'em and his red haired companion as they set off to steal vicious out of control Shadow Pokemon whos hearts have been sealed off from unsuspecting (and suspecting) trainers, and bring them back to their true selves. Turn based double battles, unique locationg, no wild Pokemon, and one towering Colosseum where you can capture legendary Pokemon such as Ho-oh and Suicune and transfer them to your copy of Pokemon Emerald (and then up through the lines of games to sun and moon). Wish there were more than 2 in the series, a few things havent aged well mechanic wise, but the music rocks, the story is still compelling and its super fun. A darker side to Pokemon I wish we'd see more often, and a competent and pretty successful evil team.
