Already used and broken prior to arrival.
When I received this product it was in worse shape than the one I was replacing, both pins on one side that holds the micro switch on were broken off and one was completely missing. I had to drill new holes in the bracket, grind down some long screws so they would fit through the holes on the micro switch and make new pins for the bracket in order for everything to work. The damage to the product I received was very easy to notice and should have never been mailed out in the first place. I would not recommend doing business with this company. Apparently they are only selling product and not quality. If you already have one piece of broken junk why would you want to buy another ? Excellent form, fit, function and value.
This bracket fit my Kenmore Elite refrigerator/freezer perfectly. I don't think there were any installation instructions (can't remember) but there are excellent videos available on line. The installation was easy and took less than a half hour. I recommend this product.

Perfect fit!
The pins holding the switches for the water and ice on/off functions broke while I was replacing the ice chute door, so I had to search out a new bracket for a fridge that is 21 years old. With the knowledge that new refrigerators, and appliances in general are built to only last typically 5 years, I have NO problem repairing a veteran fridge! May it run forever... This part was exactly identical to the factory original part. It was a really easy swap out. Everything went smoothly and now this old Whirlpool is back! I haven't installed it yet but its an oem part looks like the same on that came on it, not and after mart the plastic pegs that hold the switch on cracks after use I taped the old one until I get time to install this on looks fine
