After a decade of successful coin-op hits and many years of PlayStation-exclusive (and later, Xbox) home releases, Konami's genre-founding Dance Dance Revolution series comes to a North American Nintendo console for the first time, hosted by a cast of favorite franchise characters. As in earlier versions of DRR, Mario Mix players interact with the game through a floor mat controller, and are challenged to step to the beat of a song while following a succession of directional prompts that scroll up the screen. The game's soundtrack features over two dozen songs, including both pop hits and reworked themes from classic Nintendo games. Five levels of difficulty are available, and like many earlier editions, DDR: Mario Mix also features a "Workout" mode, which estimates the number of calories a player burns while dancing. This edition of the game comes packaged with a GameCube-compatible "Action Pad" floor mat controller.

I’ve never made a negative review on Ebay, however I unfortunately feel like I have no choice. Seller sent me a different item than what was listed, and after asking to see if they would send the contents I was missing - they agreed to it but left me in the dark for over a week now and never messaged me back to let me know they couldn’t, or any other explanation. Unfortunate.

Great game at a great price!
Great game for those who grew up on Nintendo and want to get into DDR without buying a Playstation. It's also great for DDR noobz because it has easy levels that provide some very basic practice. You won't find comparably easy levels on Playstation DDR games. The super hard levels will still provide a challenge for experienced players. Most of the songs are remixes of songs from older Mario games (upping the nostalgia factor). Like all DDR games, it's great exercise without feeling like exercise. Since is a GameCube game (played on a console that uses AV cables), the graphics aren't great. Who plays DDR for the graphics anyways? You have to play Story Mode to earn songs - which is obnoxious. Once you earned the songs, you're good to go and can play whatever, whenever in "Free Mode." Personally, I love it. It's hard to believe I played it almost 15 years ago. Now, I am playing as a 35-year-old mom and my 5 year old and 5 month old are entertained watching me while I am having fun and getting in some exercise. One day, they will be old enough to play :)

Great game for the whole family
Its a very fun gamento play i just wish the dancing pad was about a foot wider for adults to join in with the kids and play. But for an old game for Nintendo Game cube its awesome!!!!!

The game case, manual, and mat looked brand new. I couldn't believe how clean everything was, especially since this game is old. Thank you so much! My 20 year old and 15 year old were so excited to play a game from their youth!

Very nice Mario game!
The game works very well, I even got a game in brand new condition still factory sealed and everything. I was surprised to receive a new unopened copy of Mario Mix!
