Bought this laptop to run CAD programs and it's running great. Couldn't be happier with my purchase! The charger was missing when the package arrived but the seller promptly shipped a replacement. I also had to replace the CMOS battery after about a week of using the laptop but that should be expected with any used laptop that is 10+ years old. Thanks again, Veritasiness!

The shipping box was probably mishandled somewhere in the delivery pipeline, causing the HD to unseat. The Seller did respond to my inquiry and suggested I check the HD connection. Packaging was okay, it was a large box for a small laptop. As described? Well, it wouldn't boot into the Windows boot manager so I was a little bit disappointed about that. As for value, compared to the other Thinkpad W541s, it was priced cheaper and more affordable.
