Steely Dan was formed in 1972 when staff songwriters Walter Becker and Donald Fagan needed a band to perform and record songs they were writing for ABC/Dunhill. Defying all rock conventions, Steely Dan's sound was sophisticated yet accessible, featuring irresistible pop melodies along with complex harmonies. Released in '72 to critical success, the platinum selling Can't Buy a Thrill spawned 2 Top 10 hits: "Do It Again" and "Reeling in the Years."

    Cant buy a thrill cd by Steely Dan

    The first album by the legendary group Steely Dan containing such hits as, do it again, dirty work, reeling in the years plus more. This particular cd was in flawless condition , brand new, amazing sound, great price. If you already have this cd, you should get a remastered copy, if you don't already have it, you definitely need to buy it!

    Rock n' Roll Nostalgia at it's best !

    Grew up with this album and it is still wonderful and makes me happy during these tumultuous times. Ricky Gervais is also a big fan of Steely Dan. It even comes with the words!!

    A true digital remaster

    Very pleased with this purchase. It is a true digital remaster (not only a re-release which is not “remastered”) and it sounds wonderful. A great original recording made better!

    Steely Dan You can't buy a thrill CD. Only 3 out of 10 songs are worth listening to, hence the title.

    Only 3 good songs, but thier really good. Still worth the purchase.
