Version of blazing saddles
Blazing saddles is a classic movie. Mel Brooks and the writers dared to use the N-word in this movie a lot but the outcome is that the black sheriff becomes the favorite. This version is unedited so unlike the ones you might see on TV that cut out all the lines that make the movie work. This addition also includes Mel Brooks talking about making of and scenes never used in the movie Even the original TV version called Black Bart While finishing blazing saddles, Gene Wilder and mail books came up with the idea of making young Frankenstein and some of the same cast move over to make the next hilariously funny Brooks movie Blazing saddles is a classic movie. first movie where farting was part of the scrip
one of Mel Brooks funniest movies ever, with a racial twist, but in a humorous touch the actors enjoyed making the movie and still comment about it today. it is a mixed spoof of several, western movie icons, and santeros, you couldn't make a movie like it today, the language and slurs, about racism, are not acceptable by today'sb standards, but it is one of the best comedies' ever made .

I love Mel Brooks!
I do think this movie was hated by the "oh so called educated elites " but Brooks said let's show this to the everyday common folks who are the majority of the population. He was right. There are so many jokes and funny jabs that only Brooks can say and do that will make you laugh so hard. I'm a girl but I loved the campfire scene so much that I still laugh out loud to this day. There is some history in this movie and if you don't know it you will miss the reason why there is a joke about the Irish in the movie. The lawyers in the 60s and 70s called it a technically which allowed them(60s and 70s) to get away with murder. It is always fun to learn about the making of the movie and about all the great people who played a role in the writing and their comedic skills. This movie is a great ... Mel Gibbson at his best.
The DVD was in vg condition. Blazing Saddles could not be made today. Very funny; great acting. The movie is a treasure, and I will see it many more times.

Blazing Saddles is one of my family's favorite movies. Actually, we love all of Mel Brooks movies and have been collecting them.
