Product Information
Based partially on Kaui Hart Hemmings's novel, "The Descendants" is a heartfelt movie with an inspirational twist. This drama stars George Clooney as a Hawaiian resident named Matt King who owns a real estate trust business worth millions of dollars that was passed down to him and his cousins. Shortly after King's wife has a terrible accident which lands her in a coma, King learns that despite their marriage and two daughters, his wife had been having an affair. "The Descendants" follows the story of Matt King and his attempts to confront the man with whom his wife has been having an affair. The New York Post said "The Descendants" was "The Best Picture of the Year." This Blu-ray DVD comes in a two-disc set that includes bonus material like deleted scenes and commentaries. This drama is rated "R," and it also includes Beau Bridges, Robert Foster, Judy Greer, and Shailene Woodley. This two-disc set would be fun to watch with a group of adults for entertainment.
