    Product Information

    Gamers travel through time to hunt dragons and protect humanity in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. The story is spread between the ancient city of Atlantis, Tokyo in the year 2100, and the far future capital of Eden, with players slowly learning more about the 7th True Dragon that threatens to destroy humanity forever. Gamers begin by creating a custom character from three different styles, eight classes, and forty voice actor options, and then they head into turn-based battles with a nine-person party split into groups of three, with the two rear squads offering support to the front group.<br><br>Players are recruited into these dragon battles by Nodens Enterprises, a Japanese video game company that has developed the ability to travel through time. When not in combat, gamers return to Nodens to recover from battles, develop new weapons and skills, and build new facilities at the base. Players can also take on non-campaign quests for other Nodens workers or survivors of dragon attacks, and they can even date other characters to strengthen bonds and unlock special items.<br><br>This version of the game comes in a special collector's box and includes a 28-page art book.

      Awesome & fun game! Just like the classic RPG!

      I first played this as a demo on the 3ds, and I fell in love with it after finishing playing it so, I finally bought the real full game and I was so happy to have found this special edition box of 7th Dragon 3, which includes a art book of some characters & enviroments. This game has options where you can create your own characters , voices & names to bring into battle. The graphics & battle system is real nice and fun. This game isn't just for experts but for amatuers starting their first RPG. Everything is really easy to figure out and you just play it casually. I highly recommend this game for gamers that enjoys a classic RPG.

      Quite fun, with interesting class/party dynamics

      The 7th Dragon series has interested me for years, but they were never localized, Until Now!!! Now, ~25 hours in, I can see where all the buzz comes from. The classes are interesting, with multiple cool inter and intra character/party dynamics. Similar to Etrian Odyssey in several ways (though it's not 1st person), it's got cool battles and an interesting story, and while you can create your own characters, the NPC's that support the party have plenty of personality, making many of the story segments more amusing/compelling than they tend to be in other games where you create all your own characters.

      2nd SEGA game not named Sonic I actually enjoyed.

      Disclaimer: I have nothing against Sonic, but that mascot is overworked to the point niche games like 7th Dragon III: Code VFD would ease off Sonic's over-saturation. Back to the main review: I am going to keep this short and concise. Graphics: I am not obsessed with it, but the character polygons are proportionate and not super-deformed. They match the official artwork's colors. The background settings are the same and appropriate for the given setting. 5/5 Story: well-done and engaging. It has lots of plot twists that even surprised me. Gameplay: straightforward. The only downside is how the first 7th Dragon game I played turned out to be the series finale for the franchise. In spite of that, I give this game 5/5

      Great!

      Very Happy wheny product came in. I enjoy game like this. Even more so that I get to play it on my 3ds. This system has some the best Rpg's ever made and this game is just another fun addition to the list.

      Fun rpg

      It's a good game in it's own right, despite the tropes you'll find similarly in other RPGs. The extra art bits in the launch edition are nice, but seem to be basically the same things you can find on a google search.
