The Nikon Speedlight SB-24 Flash boasts a bundle of features that will enhance the 35-millimeter photographs of any camera buff. Flash photography can require some time to search and develop skills to get just right, but Nikon makes it easier with the SB-24. You can let the equipment do the work with its auto settings or make your own decisions with the manual controls. With the bounce head, swivel head, and TTL flash control, you can get the right illumination in the right place.The Nikon SB-24 can be mounted on your camera through its shoe mount, or it can be used remotely. Its dimensions are 3.1 inches by 5.1 inches by 3.9 inches. This is a very sturdy piece of gear that weighs 13.7 ounces without the batteries. You have the choice of using AA alkaline batteries, AA NiCd batteries, or an SD-7 battery pack for power. The Nikon Speedlight has a flash range from 2 through 65 feet and a guide number of 118 feet at ISO 100.A look at the rear panel controls on this Nikon accessory will give you a good idea of everything that it can do. First, you can choose whether to have the flash sync with the front or rear curtain when it is mounted on the camera. This choice is particularly important when the subject of your photo is moving.
