Maximize the efficiency of your home office with the Epson 545 Workforce C11CB88201 All-in-One printer. This multipurpose four-function workhorse machine includes a standard printer, scanner, copier, and fax, all within the same compact black hardware. Save precious space normally taken up by separate bulky machines. The Epson 545 Workforce All-in-One offers you a one-stop machine for taking care of all your document printing, scanning, and digital distribution needs. Epson Workforce printers operate using wireless technology. However, the printer does have a USB port for cable operation. You can initiate any one of the printer’s features from your desktop or from a handheld digital device, such as an iOS Apple smartphone or tablet. Setup is simple. Plug the Epson printer into a wall outlet, and turn on the machine. Follow the digital prompts for connecting the unit to your Wi-Fi network, and when that step is complete, you can begin to use it right away. The Epson All-in-One Workforce printer uses Epson ultra-high-capacity ink cartridges filled with premium ink. Four separate cartridges are combined to create vibrant ink transfers to paper. Before operating these printers, make sure the ink compartment has one black ink cartridge, one cyan ink cartridge, one magenta ink cartridge, and one yellow ink cartridge. Save on ink supplies by refilling individual cartridges as they run out, which will allow you to order replacement supplies according to your budget. Another way to reduce your use of home office supplies is to purchase a multiple cartridge pack that combines all colors, which is ideal for heavy-use printing. Keep ample supplies of printing paper on hand for loading into the paper tray. Epson Workforce paper trays handle a capacity of up to 250 sheets of 8.5x14-inch copy paper, weighing between 17 and 24 pounds. This machine is not designed to handle paper thicker than that. Make copies at top speeds of 15 ISO ppm for black and white documents and 7.2 ISO ppm for color documents. Print speeds vary for black and color documents depending on the complexity of individual pages and software. Epson created a simple, no-hassles user interface, so you can simply press a button to switch from copier to fax, among other modes. Paper copies come out crisp, clear, and without smudges, which is a must-have item for invoices, reports, and documents that require a high level of resolution. Scan text documents located on your computer and save to a digital folder or print them out. An easily readable digital monitor helps you keep track of what mode you’re in and what type of operation is happening at all times. The smooth, wireless operation of the Epson and the ability to save on supplies are two reasons for choosing this workhorse machine. You can also save money due to the unit’s ENERGY STAR qualification, which measures the amount of energy used. During normal operation, energy output is up to 70 percent less than other printer models. The Epson Workforce printer is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. This Epson 525 printer is also compatible with MAC OSX, 10.4.11, 10.5.8, 10.6.x, and 10.7.x operating systems.

    Seller was extremely responsive. Printer was shipped via FedEx and they kept damaging printers in transit. Seller was very diligent in sending replacements until one finally arrived via UPS instead in great condition on the third try. Seller was away during part of the time but he kept in frequent communication to rectify the situation until he could return to straighten everything out and get the printer delivered by a different carrier. Customer service was excellent.

    dissappointed

    I purchased the printer to replace the same model for ,my wife. It tested great but when printing a sheet of text, it have two strips of ink voids up and down the sheets. I purchased new ink and it did the same. I ended up giviing her my printer (same model) so that she who be happy. So I have two printers sitting up awaiting me taking the time learning to fix them. I still use this printer to printed some things but mostly to scan documents to my thumb drives.

    My second WorkForce 545

    No problems with it. I've used refillable cartridges in it for years. The one I bought is still going strong. This second one is still in the box if the first one ever gives out.
