    One Of Hollywood's Greatest Films And Blu-Ray Is Best

    What can I say about "Raiders of the Lost Ark" that has not been said before? It's one of the best movies ever. Harrison Ford was in his prime and he was the perfect choice to play Indiana Jones. Everything about this movie is perfect. It's one of the greatest action-adventure movies in Hollywood history. I had this one on a conventional DVD but had to have the Blu-ray, hi-def version to see the full glory of the film. It looks great and sounds great. Good price too.

    Excellent movie series

    I had indiana jones series when it first came out on vhs cassette and i saw each one of them on opening day at the theatre back in 1981 and in 1989 and i loved both of them very much well written both of them were and it never gets old watching them over again totally suitable for anyone who wants to check it out for the first time a very good purchase.

    'Raiders of the lost Ark' on Blu Ray is a vast improvement!

    Having watched this movie many many times since seeing it in the theaters in the summer of 1981, I can tell you that the Blu Ray version is exceedingly higher/ better quality than the previous DVD releases. The Blu Ray gets it closer to how it looked on the big screen back then - the colors, details - especially in the back ground as well, are more alluring and noticeable. Plus, the tremendous score of John Williams along with all of the sound effects are far better than the DVD version. The Blu Ray brings instantly noticeable improvement of this classic film right from the onset..

    Value

    I use to think buying movies was stupid and a waste of money...but then I got a wife and had kids. Now going to a movie costs me $50 for 4 people, plus I probably have to buy them dinner. Or I can stay home, buy the movie for $10, make popcorn, not worry about parking or someone kicking my seat, order pizza, you name it. Maybe i'm old, but this makes more sense now.
