This box covers the first 12 years of his career, from his work with Stephane Grappelli, Hank Parry and Frank Weir to his American debut in a trio setting and winding up with his wildly popular sides with the George Shearing Quintet. Includes Squeezin' the Blues; So Rare; September in the Rain; Conception, and other sublime performances.
