      Sprayer is great; Plastic trigger not as much

      I had to get it for the second time because my original broke (twice now). Wish I could have just reordered the plastic trigger because the connection to the metal wand is where it keeps breaking (if side pressure put on it when spraying--like when using it to sweep something away). I looked for generic replacements and couldn't find one that fit the metal wand. The Ryobi sprayer is great.

      P2800 Replacement Trigger

      The reason for replacing the original OEM part was that both trigger assemblies sprung leak in exactly the same place. I was finely able to to seal both units with super glue and have the new assemblies as backup since the trigger bodies are not available without the hose and sprayer tubing. This is my second year using the 1 gal Ryobi P2800 electric sprayer of which I own two units which makes controlling weeds much easier than hand pump sprayers.

      Nothing to it. Just affix the hose to the tank and spray away.

      It works. That is the most important thing. However, I would like to see the product purchased in parts so one doesn't have to by the whole thing. For example, the grip, the nozzle head, wand, and the hose could be replaced individually if available individually. The only part of mine that was broken was the grip handle. It had a leak. The I-fix-it service is in business to fix things so we don't waste usable stuff by throwing perfectly good parts into the dump.

      Ryobi sprayer

      This is unfortunately a very expensive fix for a product that should not fail . I only used this sprayer twice last year after purchasing it . It was placed on the shelf in my garage for the winter . On using it in the spring noted a fine mist coming from under my hand on handle. Found a crack approximately 4in in length. Unfortunately one must purchase the hose assembly which is 1/3 of the entire units purchase price !
