Worthwhile small appliance
While i love deep fried foods like french fries and breaded shrimp, I am at the time in my life when I have to worry about excess fat. (sigh) I bought this Air Fryer to be able to keep these items in my diet and it has been largely a success. I use it a few times a week and have found it to be convenient, quiet and easy to clean. It is not, however, as fast as a true deep fryer and the onion rings that I tried from scratch were not a total success. It takes up a bit of counter space, as well as requiring a large trivet placed next to it when cooking since the lower housing and basket should not be placed directly on a formica countertop when hot. Essentially a small and convenient "mini" convection oven
Air fryers are essentially small convection ovens. This one makes outstanding potato fries (cubes), which was the primary reason I bought it. It toasted the crumb crust on my mac and cheese very nicely. I made some tasty zucchini bites in it. BBQ Chicken wings were a little disappointing -- good, but not as good as when prepared on the stove top. And the instructions for the last item were conflicting -- One of the books that came with the "Fryer" said don't put more than 2 lbs of food in the basket. But the instructions in the cookbook that came with it for chicken wings called for "4 lbs". Go figure. The Farberware's main virtue is that I don't have to watch the food in it -- just stay alert for the timer. while I'm preparing the rest of the meal. And it iS exceedingly ... Lightweight on the wallet and has great features.
My Farberware air fryer cooks the food evenly and makes my fries crispy without the fat. It does all this without me having to break the bank in my purchase. It is reasonably priced and does the job.

Don't think about just buy this one its one of the top ones on market.
What a wonderful , easy to use and fun way to cook with this air fryer, I waited over a year to but one and researched and this one is one of the top ten and I would say in my book it is.

Greaseless frying
An easy to use product that cleans up easily and produces a fried product that is moist and with out the greasy taste. Love it's design and is compact enough for most countetr space. It cleans up easily and is simple to use. Recommend to all dieters.
