    The package was sent and the postage was more then the amount listed and the seller passed the 10.15 on to me by the post office who refused to delive the package until i paid them the additional 10.15 basicly holding the package hostage because of inadequate funds being provided to ship it. Can you please explain to me why this is not something that should have been addressed by the seller or why the agree amount was not honored. Now i have to go to the post office pay them.

    Series 3 HD TIVO... What TIVO was meant to be from the Start

    Need a Tivo upgrade?? Start here first. with upgraded harddrives in them 1TB plus and the option to add external storage. This is what Tivo was meant to be. with Dual tuners OTA HD TV is a great option if you live close to HD stations and the ability to record 2 shows and watch a third is a big plus. They are light-years ahead of the series 1-2 models but still have the familiar TiVo interface that you know so well. Reasonable priced even with Lifetime service don't pass one up when you find a taken care of one for sale

    TiVo Series 3 HD DVR with Lifetime Service TCD652160 (160 GB, 20 HD)

    HD quality picture is clear and sharp! (Depends on service) Can receive Cable, OTA or get both. No longer need the use of a cable box (uses 2 Cable Cards or a M Card). Can record two shows and watch another recorded show at the same time. Will work with series 2 TiVo.

    Exclusive feature.

    There is a feature that most people don't use and most people don't even know about, which is the ability to use the 1X fast forward and still see close captioning. This is invaluable when you want to see what's being said but don't want to slog through in real time. I use this feature for judge's comments and parts of my soap opera. Tivo stopped providing this feature in ALL subsequent models and I will continue using this ancient Series 3 model for as long as they still exist.

    Solved my TiVo power supply problem

    My TiVo died suddenly - no light, etc. TiVo said a flashing light would indicate a hard drive issue and no light at all could be a power supply issue. They recommended a supplier who would replace and install the power supply for a premium price. I took a chance on this vendor and the power supply at half the price and am very pleased. Of course, it remains to be seen how long it will last, but it's been working for at least a couple of weeks now and I expect that to continue for a reasonable time.

    Best TiVo

    This Series 3 HD is the best of all the TiVo boxs, in my experience. I have used the TiVo DVR since the company began, upgrading as a new series came out. Each of the newer models were purchased and installed and soon after uninstalled. Back went the series 3. You may prefer the more complicated DVR. If you want a simple to use DVR where it is easy to find and record your shows, this is the one I recommend. It is no longer supported online which is a disappointment but it is not a necessity.
