It looks like real forged carbon fiber. I would recommend this. I have many other high priced shift knobs and I actually prefer this knob currently.

The packaging was neat and the items where in perfect condition. for the price i would buy again and it makes the car look cleaner. you get what you pay for and for that i think this is a great deal.

I started communication with seller before 30 day window to communicate problems giving seller the benefit of the doubt to make things right because i had to wait on several special order inverted flare fittings for fuel line. I should have just requested refund right then instead. seller even admitted input port was not 3/8 npt and ebay couldn't help because it was 1 day past window.
