    Her second album was at a little lower volume than normal, and I don't change volume. I think it's a bargain for what you get. Her first two albums are great. I'm coming to terms with her other 3 albums. These 5 CDs are brand new.

    Terrific Collection

    RLJ is probably the greatest jazz / pop vocalist / musician / writer to com along in the last 30 years. I would have loved to have seen her collaborate with Fagan / Becker. This collection explores her live performance of various standards which should not be missed by former fans of her early releases.

    "Girl at her Volcano" on CD

    Has the only available CD version of "Girl at her Volcano" which is why I bought it. If you don't own these albums, this is an incredibly inexpensive way to get her first 4 vinyl releases along with the acoustic live album. Unfortunately, nothing is remastered and that's a shame. The albums are presented in cardboard sleeves that replicate the original LP artwork and all 5 fit conveniently into a thin slipcase for protection. It's a budget set and you get what you pay for. Most of the text on the album sleeves is unreadable, there are no extras and, again, nothing is remastered. On the other hand, Jones completists will want it for the aforementioned "Girl at her Volcano." As far as I know, this is the only way to get the EP on disc.
