      The item doesn’t work. It has a (common) bug that even though the lights turn on, the battery never goes above 0%. So it’s possible that the seller really believed it worked if he just checked the lights and didn’t connect it to the phone. I’ve tried leaving photos of this on earlier reviews when I first bought it, but it causes the app to crash and lose my review. Same with contacting the seller. Otherwise I’d preferred to have contacted him/her instead of leaving a negative review.

      Nice addition to the Z2 Force

      I bought a few of the Moto Mods when I got my phone. The gamepad is a great addition. The controls are responsive and make the games a lot easier to play. It would be nice if the buttons could be remapped for certain games as the default buttons sometimes don't make sense for the game. Otherwise, it's a good investment.

      Item does work but the battery is completely shot inside of it. Said tested and fully functional. Only knocked two stars off for that. If I charge it

If I charge it up to 100% and play for 5 minutes it's the phone tells me the battery died on the mod. But it will draw power from the phone so it does still work. All buttons and ports work.

      Great for classic games on emulator

      Great for NES emulator. N64 is really good too, but some of the games like Mario 64 I had trouble finding the 'sweet spot' to make Mario run fast. Every thing else rocked.

      Great idea, designed by your grandmother.

      it's OK for casual gaming. but the placement of the buttons are cosmetic and not practical. it's like someone who never played a game, had a vague idea of what a controller looks like, then made this. I look forward to the next iteration of this.

      Quality product, but...

      The product is well made and I have enjoyed it as much as I possibly can, despite how little I've actually been able to fully use it. Most of the titles I've been looking forward to using it with, aren't supported and probably won't be for some time still (if at all). There are plenty of games that do work with it, it's just they aren't exactly titles that hold my interest. I'm still hopeful that Lenovo/Motorola will find a way to encourage content developers to add controller support so we can see the full potential of this mod.
