Delightful Rosie
I’m pretty delighted with this little robot vacuum. I mean, it’s hard not to love something that cleans my house while I’m doing other things... It does a decent job, though it can’t quite get the deeply embedded cat hair in the rug. The charge doesn’t last long enough to do my small house in one go, but that’s okay, I don’t mind letting it recharge. Sometimes I turn it loose in one room with the door closed to it can focus. Super easy to empty, and I was able to figure out how to use it without a manual. Definitely a worthwhile purchase at the discounted floor model rate. $400 retail would have been too much!I’m pretty delighted with this little robot vacuum. Samsung Powerbot not so hot
Compared to my antique Roomba iRobot this Samsung R7040 stinks. I wanted to replace the Roomba because of its erratic behavior, but the powerbot is worse. It won't go under things like a bed with sham because it thinks it is a wall or something. It doesn't really clean up to a wall except in a few spots where it decides to use edge cleaning. It's motion isn't quite as erratic as the roomba, but it gets hung up more and needs more intervention. Pretty good vacuum!
This is a good cleaner, it will stop and not bump things and other times it will! It has a good suction and very powerful! It's best to prepare your house before letting it clean and if you have pets remove the water bowl it can tip it over. It can suck up lose things so remove them also. The only downfall is the short battery life. Right now I have about 25 minutes so I will be purchasing another one soon but from what I hear a new one 45 minutes to maybe a hour so that's pretty good for small places. Even if you have a big place it can charge and then finish up afterwards. But all in all its a pretty good cleaner. I wanted to add some remarks to this review. I bought this used Samsung vacuum about 6 months ago. Just guessing, and it began to rattle but I could not find out why! I checked it and cleaned it, and found no obstruction anywhere. Then it began to give co2 error which means according to Samsung's website, (left wheel is not working properly) saying it had some object or something obstruction in the left wheel. But after checking it carefully, I found nothing at all! Eventually it would run a few feet and just stop, both rattling and co2 error displayed. I thought it had already kicked the bucket on me, but after some careful research and I found a video of a man on you tube and he said his sister's Samsung, that is a higher model then mine, began rattling and he too found no reason for this, no obstruction anywhere, so he figured, maybe it needs a new brush! The brush did not looked too worn, so then he bought a piece of rubber at Walmart that cost about 2-3 dollars and put it on and it fixed the problem. I did the same thing and it fixed the problem,. The little rubber piece because it turns the brush inside it, eventually wears down and it will began by rattling then will give you co2 errors. So if you have this problem, Try this first before you throw it out. It worked for me. It is back to functioning normally.

Terrible vacuum
I have neato robot before recently just broke down so I want to try the Samsung robot and the quality is terrible. Got a loose screw inside the new robot. I prefer the Neato better. The samsung Is hard to program. And got glitch in the system. Sometimes leave some room unclean. Have tech support help to solve the glitch.It won't be able to program clean a specific room .Not good for high Capet due to low profile design. Worth the money!
Does an excellent job of keeping up with our two dogs and a cat that all shed on our hard surface floors. I work from home and was concerned that this vac would be too noisy and am happy to report that it is not very loud at all.
