Good value but not very strong signal boost
The unit is very easy to set up and install. It is also much lower priced than the competition..However, that low cost also comes with weak signal boost making it barely acceptable in terms of meeting the requirements for our rural location. We are located in a rural area with heavy mature timber and lots of rolling hills. My previous unit, which was made in China, began transmitting on an unauthorized frequency and we received a visit from the frequency police..my terms..but that is their function. I wanted to buy a Wilson replacement system but the cost was prohibitive..So I settled for this Zboost unit..I am thinking now that I should have spent the extra $200+ and got the Wilson..The cellphone tower from which we receive signal is only about 1.75 miles from our house..but there is ... The unit is very easy to set up and install. Better than newest model
This is a great product. I used a friends and found out how well it worked. I then decided I would by one as well. Unfortunately all I could buy was the newer version of the YX545 which I believe is the ZB545. This unit would not hold the 4g signal and would switch to something else or not give me any service at all. I was finally able to find another YX545 here on ebay and am very happy with this product. If you are in an area with poor or week signal, Buy One, you won't be disappointed! I am using MTS Telephone service in Canada.This is a great product. Quality issue
The plastic part of the antennae needs to be made of heavier material .My last one didn't last long & I had to modify it with a piece of pic pipe.

Inexpensive upgrade that makes quality calls possible.
Was a bit skeptical, but after installing, I'm getting Verizon HD voice inside my house now. Before installing this, the signal inside was strong enough to make and receive calls, but they would be choppy and sometimes drop. I have WiFi for web access and don't use carrier data so, I can't comment on internet connectivity, but for calls it is great. This unit was used but is still working great, better, than expected for several months now. Was a bit skeptical, but after installing, I'm getting Verizon HD voice inside my house now. Works Well...just 1 concern...
I am delighted with the way my ZBoost SOHO unit works. I went from no bars to 3-4 bars at my home located in a rural area. Time will tell, but my only concern is how long the plastic on the antenna will hold up in ice, snow, summer sun, etc. That said, if it fails, I'll replace the antenna because the "system" works like a champ.
