    Old fashioned but ok

    This is not a cell phone, just a way of storing your contact info plus other stuff. I like the size. The problem is that eventually the digitizer goes bad. I have learned how to replace them with new ones that I buy on Ebay. If you buy this unit brand new the digitizer will probably last a good amount of time.

    perfect for me

    I have been using one for 20years at work. People give me a hard time but it does everything I want. It's the right size and easily organized. They last about 5years sometimes because I break the screen but I always have a back up ready. I will retire when I can't get any new ones. Fortunately I am old like this technology.

    Terrible product.

    It appeared to be a new device. However, I could never get it to work. After fully charging it, the screen went dark grey. Upon disconnecting it from the charger, the screen went completely black, and it has remained that way to this day. When I tried to connect it with my computer I received a message that the device was "unrecognizable." So, bottom line, when not connected to power source - black screen; when connected to power source - dark grey screen. Terrible, just terrible !

    Zire 31: screen is not bright

    Lighting of the screen is not as I expected: it was much brighter on the previous Zire 31 I owned. This makes it hard to read under normal light conditions. You have to use it in dim light or in the dark to see the screen clearly enough.
