YES, it IS listed in the detail of the description that it is plated. But the title is absolutely misleading. You live, you learn. Alright price IF it were silver in any part. Be warned to read the fine details. Not worth the hassle of returning when it was my error to have not read the description thoroughly. Maybe will use it as a Christmas Tree ornament.

I would like to make a suggestion. The item arrived in a plastic bag. The Item was in a tiny box inside the plastic bag. The little box was crushed on one end. May I suggest that there be better protection in the packing? the crushed box was on the end where the chain was, not where the Tree of Life part was. I may be worth the trouble to consider more protection. Thanks!
