He shipped the items immediately, and they were on the way. Problems in shipping were encountered as soon as the package came to its first USPS in Sacramento. The next step was to Oakland and then to my local USPS office. Instead, it spent 6 days going across SF bay between SF and Oakland POs! It was only 3 days from Oregon but another 6 days from the PO only a few miles away!
