The motor showed up in a timely fashion. It was packed in such a way as to arrive in good shape. It appeared to be new as stated in the add. Though there was some confusion at first, PNKMonky was helpful and even offered to take the motor back. The original motor was no longer produced, but Amana said this one would work. It does work and the motor is functioning well and tumbling the clothes in the dryer as we speak. Thank you PNK!

Great Remote Except for Dimming (Which Sort of Works)
The remote is handy, and very easily paired. I have 4 remotes paired to 1 fan so the lights can be turned on/off or dimmed from either side of the bed & from either entry into the room. If controlling the dimming were simple & straightforward, this would be a 5-star remote. As it is, one has to press the up/down arrows together to put it in dimming mode, then long press the light on/off button until light is as dim or bright as you want it. The problem? There's a time delay between the time one presses the light on/off button & it STARTS dimming or getting brighter, AND ALSO a time delay from the time the light on/off button is released & it STOPS dimming or getting brighter. How do you gauge how long to hold the button so it stops dimming or brightening? Beats me. So far, it's trial & ... The remote is handy, and very easily paired. I am sure it is of good value, but not for my application.
I did not want to change the receiver in my fam. I was looking for a remote only that was paired to my existing receiver. this unit will not work for me unless I install the receiver also. I have not even opened the box.

Works well.
Only wanted the controller. Could not find anywhere to buy just the remote without the receiver. That said it worked well easy to pair with my existing Hunter ceiling fan.
