Prey: The Hunter or the Hunted?
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This game is awesome! Not everyone is going to enjoy this type of game but I sure did. Talos 1 is a fantastic setting for a videogame and it does give you that Rapture like feeling when walking around. I personally love art deco themes in videogames so I might be a little biased. I love Bioshock, Dishonored, Deus Ex, and Dead Space, and this game reminds me of all those games. It even feels a little bit like Half-Life 2 which was a good game for its time. The reason people might not like this game is because the story to be fully enjoyed requires you to look through lots of e-mails and listen to lots of recorded messages. When you do both these things the people whose bodies you find scattered around Talos 1 start to have meaning. Each corpse is a person with a name and backstory and usually they are quite interesting and grab you in a very relatable and human level as opposed to feeling just thrown into the game to add more filling to the game length through tedious reading. That's not the case here. I wanted to save as many people as I could because they actually seemed like people and not NPC's. This and the exploration factor along with the amazing setting is what made Prey awesome in my opinion. The shooting gameplay was on point and fun, with the ability to upgrade your weapons and the utilization of the gloo gun I thought was a stellar concept. The gloo gun can stop fires, insulate electrical malfunctions, and allow you to reach hard to reach places making it a very handy tool. The powers in this game I thought were just ok. It felt like there were too many powers and that most of them were just variations of other powers. With so many variations it just felt like they weren't as meaningful or powerful as they should be. The powers were ok but mainly I just used the equivalent of incinerate and force push the whole time backed up with a one two punch of my super maxed out shotgun. Also there is a hidden morality system in this game which I think is great. And I really enjoyed the music in the game. There isn't a lot of music, but what is there works really well to add tension and mystery to the game. Buy this game for the setting, the ambience, the music, the story, the relation of human characters both dead and alive, and the tight gunplay. Do not buy this game for the powers aspect. And again I say the story is good you just have to look at emails and audio logs to get the full experience. This game is amazing and I'm very glad I picked this up. It will definitely stay on my game shelf for years to come. Thank you Arkane Studios and Bethesda for making for unique and awesome games. This game is great on its own and doesn't need a sequel. But if they do make a second I will definitely buy that one too!

Than you come to realize that it has something you wanted that you didn't even realize you needed but you need it all the same. That's what Dead Rising 2 for Ps4 was like for me. I bought it out of a whim for $11 and it was a great nostalgic ride to the past. Dead Rising 2 is not a game to be taken seriously. It is an installment in a line of humorous zombie slaying games by Capcom. I owned Dead rising 2 originally on xbox 360 when it came out in 2010 and I also owned Dead Rising 1. Dead Rising 2 is great mindless fun! Epic and stupidly funny psycho battles, huge hordes of the undead, big "open world" to explore, survivors to rescue, mysteries to solve, lots of varied outfits, and combo weapons! What is not to love. Like I said the game doesn't take itself seriously. So if you are looking for another "The Last of Us", look elsewhere. The Ps4 version has crisper graphics, a steady frame rate, and amazing sound quality. I personally like the somewhat cartoonish look to the game. It has a pretty color palette to the entire mall/city complex. And I even thought Chuck was a pretty relatable guy. He just wants to ensure his daughters safety and survival. What more character growth or motivation do you need? The dialogue is cheesy but I like that about it. This game kinda has a campy kinda feeling to it. Very relaxing to play. The only thing I didn't like was not being able to explore Fortune City without a time limit. For $11 I got this for a steal and I was amazed at the game I didn't know I needed back in my collection. I haven't played Dead Rising 3 or 4 seeing as how I don't have a xbox 1 but when Dead Rising 4 comes to Ps4 later this year I will definitely pick it up. This game made me a fan again. Here's to hoping they make Dead Rising 3 for Ps4 too. Get back out there Chuck! Who else has the ability to make a lightsaber with just jewels and a flashlight. What, no hands are up? I thought so.

Great 1st play through! Even better with new game +!

I did the same thing for Dishonored on Xbox 360 back in 2012. My 1st play through of dishonored 2 I played as Emily. I was mostly merciful but still killed a few people here or there. I got the good ending. You don't have to be an absolute angel in this game to get the good ending. Now I'm working on my second play through with new game plus and the experience is even better. I am playing as Corvo this time around and the awesome thing is that you can have the abilities of both characters if you want. You carry over any used runes in your first play through and blue prints. I hear you can have new game ++ or even new game +++ which is awesome because eventually you will be able to max out every power and be a time bomb of epic proportions in the powerhouse front. What's that guard, you think my shoes are ugly. Kapow eat time bend with a slice of rats and blood flies and then the cherry on top, use whirlwind to throw you into a wall of light. No one says that about my shoes! Ha ha ha (maniacal laugh). So yah um what I was really get at is play this game. It is awesome no matter what ending you get. Whether you play as Corvo or Emily or as a stealthy pacifist or a maniacal madman. It is pure fun! Do it. Press the add to cart button. It's in the corner. If you find this game too easy, it has multiple difficulties. and you can even tweak gameplay settings as difficult as you want. No hud, no powers, extreme difficulty. There you go. Much more of a challenge. Arkane made this game more realistic in the AI department by having guards notice when other guards are missing or if cabinets are open or smashed. Guards also see better and hear better in this game than the first. You have a wide arsenal of powers and gadgets to accomplish your goals. This game demands patience and an inquisitive mind. Its levels beg to be explored and exploited. I thought the levels were varied very well. One takes place in a district with dust storms. One takes place in a creepy secluded health center. One mission involves seeing into the past and warping in between the past and present. And of course there was the clockwork mansion. One of the coolest levels I've ever played. Dishonored 2 is amazing and it left me in awe. I found dishonored 2 better than dishonored 1. And that was no easy feat. Get this game and if you are like me you won't be disappointed.
