Great For The Music Collector, Not for the Casual Fan.

I'd recommend this CD to The serious Music Collector more so than the casual fan. I think the Rascals are a Great 60's Band that should be given more credit than they get. Although most of this music is great on this CD, the Casual Fan would be better off spending money on the various other collections available because this is a budget CD and it's MISSING a lot of Bigger Hits from The Rascals: 1.) Good Lovin' 2.) How Can I Be Sure 3.) It's A Beautiful Morning 4.) A Girl Like You 5.) Carry Me Back 6.) It's Wonderful Are ALL MISSING from this collection. BUT, for the Serious Collector it DOES have TWO Hard To Find Chart Hits: 1.) Hold Me (Billboard # 51) 2.) Love Me (Billboard #95) Both of these songs are good AND they're Hard to Find, so the Budget Price makes it a well worth companion CD to the more extensive Greatest Hits Collections. This Helps if you already have a collection of The Rascals Greatest Hits. Otherwise there's an excellent 2 CD Collection of The Rascals A & B Singles available, but that usually cost aprox. $30. Most But NOT all the hits

If you want the nitty gritty of B. J. Thomas's peak years, it here with the Scepter 45's singles and then you get of course all the Non Hit B sides as well. Great if you're a Hard Core Fan. Casual Fans would do better to look for his Import Cd "Ultimate Collection" on BMG International.
