Work very well and I love the compact size.

I use several of tetra auto heaters and like them very much. Adjustables have the flexibility for some special needs but overall for general use I love the convenience of auto. I haven't experienced the failures that many reviewers complain about when addressing auto heaters.

Good Compact Heater

I've seen several reviews of this heater complaining of failures but i have not experienced the same. its been nothing but consistent and good. i currently have and use 8 of these and all of them work for me as expected. That's why I have eight. That being said; everyone should always remember its a mass produced machine and sometimes you can get a defect. Aquarium heater, washing machine, auto, batteries.....etc. I have a few more aquariums to set up and for the set & forget heaters I like these.
