OLD SCHOOL LITTON MK V MILITARY LASER RANGE FINDER OD GREEN MEASURE DISTANCE
08 mai 2018
LRR-104 Mk5 Laser Rangefinder, Amazing Device, Killer Deal.
Amazing LRF, works to 10,000m or about six miles. Worth WAY more than the $400 I paid for it. They typically go for $3000 and up (I know a guy selling one for that price right now). Long range LRF's are usually about $1 per meter. So this one would be in the $10,000 range new, at least. It's not junk, no plastic. High quality 7x optics. Laser is Class 4 @1064nm which means it's invisible to night vision but also that it can blind someone very easily. This cannot be stressed enough. This unit has a VERY powerful laser --IF you could see it, it would look like a laser beam that goes on to infinity, well past 50 miles for sure. So it's not for everyone but if you NEED a long range high end LRF, these are great. Only reason they aren't more popular is that 9/11, Litton was sold and eye safe lasers in the 15xxnm range became available all at the same time. Because of all this, not many were made, and because they were on an AF contract, they almost were never used. Mine has some wear on corners but is otherwise in mint condition. The padded case it comes with is overkill IMO, but not complaining. I didn't get the tripod and I'd have liked it but I'm not complaining about that given the price. No, not at all. As far as comparing it to other LRF's on the market, only ones that come close are the higher end Vectronix stuff and the military grade Newcon stuff. Accurate to 10m @ 5.86 miles. Capable of ranging relatively small targets are long ranges. This device literally saved me several thousand dollars, so I'd say it's the best deal I've gotten on Ebay ever.
