The sockets are awesome. The magnetic rail…..not so good. Get a quality socket rail before the magnet falls off the bottom and before the nubs break off. And just to let you know, the warranty doesn’t mean anything because they’ve discontinued the V-series tools. That means, there is no replacement if you break one….as I’ve found out.

I really don’t use 1/2” drive sockets th...

I really don’t use 1/2” drive sockets that much but I already had the 1/4” and 3/8” sets so naturally, I had to have 1/2 set. The quality of these sets are awesome. These would have been the perfect sets if it weren’t for the ratchets. The back drag is pretty bad…mostly on the 1/4” ratchets. The 3/8 and 1/2” ratchets feel better after a good soaking in ATF and working the anvil back and forth to break them in. If I have any issues while using the ratchet, I’ll grab one of my better ones.

These are great. I wish they had more sizes in the set. The ratcheting mechanism is very smooth. Since the V-series has been discontinued, you probably won’t get a replacement if you break one. That’s the only downside.
