Compact and does the job well.
The small size is great. You don't have to worry about a headphone cord getting caught on things. It's just loud enough to hear but not too loud.

Works ok but not enough range to reach to my mailbox.
Works ok but not enough range to reach to my mailbox. I tried to place the receiver as close to the mail box as possible (front of house in different locations). Tried lithium batteries for more power. Purchased plastic mailbox to replace metal one. Looks to be about 70 feet. Maybe I can use it some where else. Maybe to sense a side door opening or something.

Nice kit.
Not going to use this for awhile. All the parts are there including the circuit board. I don't have to Design, find parts, and assemble them. Well worth what I paid for it. I'm sure it will work just fine when I go to use it. This will give my grandson more of a chance to work with digital components.
