Saw this series years ago, and have been having a hard time finding it for less than $120, since it was out of print for a long time. Glad to find a great copy, now I can enjoy this superb cast.

British Humor!!

Silly fun

Rowan Atkinson in a funny British police procedural. The humor is a bit dated and probably couldn't be made today, but plenty of laughs to be had.

Thin Blue Line reminds me of laughter in a good way.

This is a funny DVD set of the British police force. All the British actors work well together in this series. Very entertaining.

Lighthearted and entertaining

I love British comedies, and although this isn't my absolute favorite, it is a very enjoyable, lighthearted journey through the lives of the often bumbling, but always likeable, police men and women who work at a London police station. Of course, when you have Rowan Atkinson in anything, you know there will be a certain amount of silliness, and it is indeed present in generous quantity. This may not be at the level of the finest (To the Manor Born, Absolutely Fabulous, The Vicar of Dibley, etc.) but it will keep you laughing, and is an extremely pleasant way to pass some time.Lire l'avis complet...

Great fun!

Every character is a hoot. Make sure you set aside a few hours to watch it because, although they are just 1/2 hour episodes, you'll find yourself watching one after the other. It's just too good to turn off after one show. It's not a kid friendly series, however. The humor is for older people and teenagers, with sexual references now and then.
