Excellent Range and Battery Life
I was looking for a training collar for our 6 month Doberman. She is responding well to the collar especially the beeping tone as a warning before the static correction. I also like how it has a good behavior tone. The manual is easy to read and has excellent advice on how to train your dog with different methods. I spent maybe ten minutes reading and we were on our way to a much better behaved dog. I was worried how accurate the range would be as usually is much less than what is listed. Not the case. This collar has full range listed! Works great from all areas of my home (large two story colonial 3500sq ft) I can correct barking from the other end of the house no problem, also if she is outside I can correct her from indoors. Love this product!
This is the 3rd pet trainer I have had in a year's time. The first two cost less money and only worked for a short time and not a long distance. When the second one stopped working I did serious studying on the internet and found Petsafe. It works great just as described. The collar and remote need to be charged about every two days. Great for training
We have a 7 month old Golden Retriever. He has done well with positive reinforcement training for most things.
However, we could not break him of three things - digging, jumping on others and jumping on the kitchen counter with his from paws.
We have only had shock him on a lower setting a few times. He is not 100% broken but is about 80% to 90% broken of these bad habits.
Most of the time all we need to do is give a warning beep and he knows to stop any misbehavior.
This product is good quality. We like the recharging feature. We would recommend it to help with training if positive reinforcement is not working.Lire l'avis complet...

Great e collar for a great price
Received the product sooner than expected (always a plus) and our dog is responding very well to his new collar. Very substantial and sturdy product. There is no vibration option, but you really don't need it since the static shock level 1 feels merely like an ant bite (I tried it on myself). Our dog responds to just the beep sound so we don't even have to use the static shock even at the lowest level for the most part. We only use it when we really really have to. RENEGADE
If your dog starts going, running away from you while your calling and then starts running even faster away from you, this will do the trick. This brand and style really works great. Professional grade at a reasonable price

Great trainer collar
Our dog is lab border collie mix. Very head strong. But we initially had a fence that beeped on collar and if he ignored, then he would get a shock.
The fence is no more. We use the collar to set boundries on our and it works great and does reach out to him 400 yards. This is our 3rd collar we like it so much. Re charge batteries last about a week. Great productLire l'avis complet...

Painful for the pet
If you want a torture device for a pet this is it. The instructions on how to use it are too complicated. Way more functions than what I would have expected. One suggestion
When you get the 2 or 3 Dog trainer you need a second charger. One charger only charges 2 items at a time. With 2 collars and one controller you can't charge all items over night.
