Full Spectrum Light makes a difference you can see
This is the closest thing to the Original Patented Vita-Lite Full Spectrum fluorescent light which Dr. Ott used to use before he started making his own lamps. It is high color rendering for quality control work such as matching paint or grading diamonds. This particular model has the base with the slot in it, which can be extremely important in some Ott-Lite lamps. The new ones come with a plain base that is standard 2G11 size.
You just can't do better than buying the Ott-Lite fluorescents unless you can find the Vita-Lite made by Duro-Test or the Aurora V made by V. L. Service Lighting, both of which are nearly impossible to find.
