Surprise noncompatable fine print
Not what I thought I was getting, after reading all instructions 3 times it makes a general statement that this UTA will not work on ''newer'' tachs. Just a general statement, nothing that tells me how to determine the compatibility short of trying. Guessing that trying this unit and if it doesn't work I'll have a part that will sit on my work bench and collect dust. I've checked the listing for more information and still feel more product info is necessary. Great little box! big time saver.
I was trying to retrofit a modern arduino based tach to an 20yr old motorcycle and the waveform is all wrong for that. This little box fixed me right up! If you need a good output signal from a spiked pulse on a coil. This will work for you. It was a lot smaller than I expected which was great. I would also love a non-mounted version that I could solder into a loom or somewhere completely out of the way but this will work for just about anyone.Lire l'avis complet...

Tach adapter
Used this on a 1983 Toyota Supra along with the tach amplifier, also supplied by this Ebay seller, after installing an LS3 6.2L chevy engine in. Works amazing!

these days, you just don't find people that take pride in their work anymore. this company didn't get that memo. i've had the pleasure of speaking to them a few times before and after purchasing anything. electricity is my kryptonite and they broke everything down for me. told me which product would be best and what i should look for and troubleshoot after installing if things werent perfect. the product itself if very well made. looks to be very well water sealed. compact but inclusive. they definitely take time to build them right. highly recommend. Money pit
Bought this for a project car un working with. They told me it was gonna be a plug and play thing. So í ordered and it arrived ... What a waste of money, í tried every single combination on the paper it brinca with it and never could make the tach work correctly. Its always jumping all arround and when tried to acelerate the engine red light tienes on and of at every RPM. Works great with my Vulcan 900 and a KUS Marine tach. Had to add a 100K resistor to dampen down the spark signal...

Problem solver
I have an ignition system that sent a square wave tach signal that my tach could not read. Installed the tach adapter and with the tech support they offered i got it working in no time!

Great value, easy to install with great support
Excellent product! After 7 years and 2 engine swaps, I finally have a tach again! Gene was incredibly helpful, and the product was very easy to install and troubleshoot. You can't beat the price, and it helps keep a clean, stock interior look after an engine swap. After reading dozens and dozens of forum posts saying it couldn't be done, I am so glad I stumbled upon this product.

Great product with excellent support
Great product, wish I had discovered it earlier. Bought it to calibrate my factory V6 tach following a V8 swap. Had a filtering question and got immediate and knowledgeable tech help.
