For the last 20 years, I have been collecting vintage children's books, all 50 to 100 years old, and preserving the extraordinary illustrations. The selection is varied and includes Raggedy Ann, fables, and fairy tales of all sorts as well as many animal pictures. The illustrations are the original pages from these books. They are custom matted and enclosed in a protective sleeve. Identifying information such as book author, illustrator ,and date of publication are included. For me, the search for and preservation of these illustrations has been a passion. As Robert Louis Stevenson wrote this inscription in one of his early editions: "To all children--the makers of sunshine."
