This 24-Meg sequel to 1993's WWF Royal Rumble features faster gameplay and twelve authentic wrestlers, each with different attributes: Razor Ramon, Lex Luger, 1-2-3 Kid, Doink, Diesel, Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart, Yokozuna, Brett Hart, The Undertaker, Luna Vachon, and Bam Bam Bigelow. Game modes include One-On-One, Tag Team, Bedlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and the Raw Endurance Match (where you take on six opponents one after another). Up to four players can slug it out at once, which is a first for an WWF wrestling game, or you can challenge the computer on one of ten different difficulty levels. All of the featured wrestlers have their own theme music and added "mega-moves," which means you can pummel your opponent with Owen Hart's "Whirling Dirvish" or Diesel's "Caber Toss," among others. The Super Nintendo cartridge offers the same features and wrestlers included with the Genesis version. |

The BEST SNES Wrestling Game, Period.
WWF Raw is the best wrestling game for the 16-bit Super Nintendo system. It takes everything that the prior title- WWF Royal Rumble- does, and improves on it tenfold. The sprites look great (though, Bam Bam Bigelow apparently lost some weight according to the developers of this game), and the gameplay is smooth. There are a lot of different match types, which was unseen until this game in American wrestling games. The game boasts an excellent roster of superstars including The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Bam Bam Bigelow, Yokozuna, and even Luna Vachon and the late, great, Owen Hart. You will not find another wrestling game on the Super Nintendo that can stand up to this title in terms of completeness. If you are only going to buy one 16-bit wrestling game, make sure it is WWF Raw for the Super Nintendo! 5 out of 5 Chair Shots (Yup, there is even a chair at ringside that you can use!) Classic game
The game works now that i cleaned it(i only cleaned the contacts). It was dirty so i had to clean it to get it to work. Now it works great and i have played the game a few times so far. This game brings me back to when i was a kid.

my 2nd, 1st opinion of wwf raw
for as long as its been since i last played this game and now, after getting my fc turbo, i can still remember those golden days of playin raw on my "sick" days of school. it does resemble a fighting game but, the wrestling doesn't help to make it seem like it especially when your filling the sounds of commentary from your head in the voice of the king lawler. great memories of the golden/simple days of games and wrestling and stright out fun.

Nice wrestling game!
This game is really fun, only because it introduces diva's (Luna), and is the only SNES wrestling game that has Owen Hart, Doink, and Bret Hart in it. Great game, very very fun, it has okay graphics for its time, although if you really care about graphics, you could probably try SNES Wrestlemania, the arcade game. Great gameplay, good roster selection. 8/10
