Subtle, Yet Powerful Look at God's Power and Love
We all hear about how God can "move Heaven and Earth," but this documentary demonstrates how the Creator can -- literally -- manipulate the motion of the Universe to mark the birth and death of the Lord Jesus. Making the story all the more compelling is the fact that the presenter, Rick Larson, is not an astronomer by trade, but an attorney capable of doing his own research into an unfamiliar topic. Producer McEveety does a fine job of building up the story, connecting it to the Biblical narrative, to the climax of Christ's life. The demonstration of God's power and love working beautifully together is stunning. Thank you, Antcontx

Informative and interesting, you form your own opinion.....
This video is a very interesting perspective of the Star of Bethlehem. The researcher uses modern software to visualize the sky around the time of Jesus' birth and death to paint a vivid description of what probably may have occured at those times. He interweaves Old and New Testament verses with the locations of various celestial bodies to give credibility to his theories. The researcher presents the information in such a way that he wants you to look at what he found, think about it, and then come to your own conclusion. At the end, you are left thinking how interesting that was, how possible were the theories that were proposed, and awe of how God orchestrated all of this from before the beginning of the universe. Probably good for children over 10 years old or so only because of the slightly technical nature of the video. However, of course, it would be great to watch with the family and a big bowl of popcorn on a Saturday night. Believe it if you want, accept it as a possibility if you aren't sure.

A boost to the faith in Jesus Christ and the mysteries of His birth and death. It provides a reverent, captivating, easy to understand presentation of a theory on how the stars announced and celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ. All based on passages from the Bible and historical facts and using highly technical computer program to show that the star of Bethlehem did exist and could be used as a guide to reach the manger and how the birth of Jesus was represented in the stars. Shows how the moon, stars and earth behaved thereby mourning on the day Jesus was crucified. A classic to be watched any day especially during the Christmas season and Lent. I loved it and will treasure it for years to come.

The Star of Bethlehem
My brother encouraged me to get the dvd after he watched it at a Christmas party, knowing how much I watched the night sky. I was so thrilled with all the info and the story behind it, I watched it over immediately. This dvd renewed my spirit and brought extra meaning to the Christmas season. Now, I can watch it when I want and sharing it with others is a wonderful way to be a witness to God and his amazing love and creation of the universe. Knowing for myself and see others produce evidence that sending Jesus as our Saviour was the plan from the beginning is mighty powerful "stuff". I am so moved by the poetry in the stars, tears still come to my eyes. All I can say is, God must be hopelessly in love with the human race. I loved the whole thing and would recommend it to everyone!!!!!
