Sega's sphered simians go portable. Following the surprise success of their original GameCube launch title and the popularity of its 2002 sequel, AiAi, MeeMee, Gon Gon, and Baby roll on to the Game Boy Advance in Super Monkey Ball Jr. As in the GameCube releases, single-player Super Monkey Ball Jr. involves a series of action-puzzle races, in which players must guide a cute monkey encased in a clear ball to roll through winding paths and platform mazes as quickly as possible, without falling off the edges. Super Monkey Ball Jr. offers over five dozen game boards of varying difficulty. Also like the console versions of the game, Super Monkey Ball Jr. features a number of party games, including Monkey Race, Monkey Fight, Monkey Golf, and Monkey Bowling, with support for up to four equipped players through a link cable connection. |

I haven't been much of a fan of the Super Monkey Ball series but I was still curious to try the GBA version. The music is out of this world but the only drawback is the play control because you can't use an analog stick unless you use it on the Game Boy Player. Later series on the DS will probably be frustrating for some players as well. The minigames are good, my favorite was the Monkey Fight. The only other critique is the constant screaming of the monkeys whenever they fall and lose a life. Not as bad as Baby Mario's crying but still sometimes quite annoying.
Pretty good, but not for impatient gamers.
Super Monkey Ball Jr. is a flawed masterpiece. For one, it's basically a port of the original Super Monkey Ball video game for the Nintendo Gamecube, and a pretty darn good one at that. All the levels are very challenging but fun and addicting. It also has 4 mini-games, which include the Smash Bros.-esque Monkey Fight, Monkey Golf, Monkey Bowling, and Monkey Challenge (which requires at least 2 people to play). These games will keep you entertained for hours. The problem with the game is the D-pad controls. It can get very frustrating to try to move your monkey around with the platform, especially ones that already move! I'd rather it be that you control the monkey instead, but there you go. Otherwise, I recommend it for slightly older kids. Little kids will probably get VERY angry with it.
Another awesome classic
Super Monkey Ball on the Game cube was pretty frustrating. It was hard but it was also a lot of fun. The most fun came out of the great minigames, which in my view can keep you entertained for either hours on end or serve as a fun distraction for just a couple minutes. The great thing is that the graphics are just amazing for a GBA title. The characters still look great even compared to their Gamecube counterparts. This is definitely a game you'll want to pick up, especially if you've gotten sick of Warioware and want something a little different.

i am writing do to i love playing gameboy games. I had this game a long time ago. Back when i was a teenager. So, now as an adult. I am playing these games all again. TO relax my mind from my everday life. I have enjoyed. My yougest daughter is getting into video games. A friend of mine and are looking into buying all the new game boy advance and old systems. So, we can play the video games and have fun. THis is why i brought myself the game . So, thank you for selling the game on ebay.
Easy cop
I would buy a thousand if I could. The only downside in buying this item that have affected me so far is losing my job for not showing up and playing the game instead.
