One of the best video games of all time
The Super Mario Bros. series without a question is the symbol of Nintendo and the video game industry back on the late 1980s, early 1990s. Every time video game was mention the first thing came to peoples mind was Mario. Nintendo was the major responsible to bring back the faded video game industry on early 1980s and what made Nintendo successful was Mario. Super Mario 3 is the best on the series, bringing back the original gameplay but now with lots more features that made one of the best video game for the time. The graphics is the best that NES could produce and the sound/music that people can't forget. With all the powers from the previous games like throw fire balls and turn to giant Mario now has items that made him fly, swim faster, turn to a statue, etc in 8 different worlds witch one with different levels and minigames. If you like platformers special old school ones that the best you can get. 9 out a 10.
I used to play this game a lot as a kid. I also purchased an FC Twin Duo console that plays both the 8 bit and 16 bit games and this game was the first one I tried. The game has a couple of glitches and when my little girl wiggles the game in the console it will actually freeze up and I have to reset it. I know the original 8 bit console was designed so the cartridge would be completely hidden so it couldn't be moved. Maybe its a poor design of the console or the metal contacts on the cartridge are dirty. I didn't really expect the games to work flawlessly especially since they are about 20 years old. I'm overall satisfied. Thanks.
