Pretty good game!
I bought this for my 5-year-old gamer girl who loves playing her Xbox 360! She loves the game, and my husband and I do, too. We will be watching her play and she will let us play for a second and we don't want to give it back. :D The game does have some minor flaws (sometimes it won't let me move the camera and the camera will be in a weird angle where I can't see) but all in all I think it's a great game. I'm not sure how closely it follows the movie as we have never watched it, but it does have clips from the actual movie throughout the game (the clips kinda fill you in on what is going on in the game). She loves playing as the little troll guy (thimbletack?) and as Mallory, but you also get to play as Jared and Simon. You get to catch fairies and fight little trolls and it's really fun to do the different quests. I am definitely glad I bought this for out daughter!

Good game for a Challenging child....or adult
I bought this game for my 4.5 year old son, he saw commercials on tv and had to have it. We like the game because it has a lot of mystery and things to keep your child entertained with. You start out with the boy Jared and then after finding things and beating challenges you get to use Mallory and Simon. You are also able to play as Thimbletack. We just got the game today 3/8 however son played demo so he knew he liked it. We have gotten pretty far already. My son is able to play and get a lot of things himself, his father and I only need to help get past the hard bad guys.(but again our son is only 4.5) I would recommend this to any parent who has a child interested in mystery's, fairytales and challenging games. (also Harry Potter Fan's would probably like this)

really good for everybody who likes explore
Actually, when I was playing this game, I didnt watch this movie so I did not know whole story but I could do anything in this game even I did not know movie or book story as well. This is kind of awesome game for every people. At first, Graphic was kinda good. some of Xbox 360 game have super bright graphic but this is not. However, you can play with smooth graphic. Second, you can explore new world through thier house! when I was trying to little fella (I forgto his name), it was so funny. Third, you can earn 1000point of XBOX achievement so easily! I think, Im not good at game but I got 1000points in 10 hours! this game will give you best experience through childish world, it was good!!

Spiderwick on Xbox 360
I've been playing the game for a few days now. I am really enjoying it! The reason I decided to buy it was that am a huge fan of the books and movies. In the game you get to play the characters of the twins, Mallory, and the brownie/boggart Thimbelthack! If you liked the movie then its defenitly a game to buy!

The Spiderwick Chronicles (Xbox 360)
It is a great game and my children really enjoy it! It's fun and the levels are fairly easy! I definitely recommend this game to anyone that enjoys children's games and also it great for adults too! Very entertaining and will give you hours of enjoyment!
