I played this a lot when I was a kid and it's one of my all time favorites. Excellent gameplay, awesome graphics (for the time, of course), the levels are always different from one another and poses interesting challenges without repeating itself too much. For the new generation that didn't have the chance to play a Genesis, this game is a nice intro for the console.

Aladdin for the sega genesis
One of the best platformers on the genesis. Amazing sound track also. The game play is super solid with great replay value.

A trip down memory lane...
My kids loved this game when they were little. They're adults now and one of them recently had a birthday. We decided to recreate the past... sort of a nostalgic trip down memory lane. This game was a part of that journey.

Sega Genesis: Aladdin (Great Title)
The Sega Genesis of Aladdin is a great game. It is an excellent platformer from Virgin Studios (the same people that made the Lion King game). It has ten levels which are based on the Disney classic and each of them is entertaining and unique in its own way. You have a ranged weapon (throwing apples) and a scimitar (in layman's terms, a sword) that you use to fight guards, skeletons, bats, etc. while avoiding obstacles. If you have not played this game yet I would highly recommend it. There is just something about quality 2D platformers that gives them more replay value than 3D games, at that is true for me.
Favourite Genesis Game
Short but a very polished game. Hands down the best Disney title on the console. Gameplay is fun and addictive.
