Nostalgic neo geo arcade package. Retro ps2 in 2020 for retro neo geo arcade.
Nice little bundle of retro neo geo arcade games. All nostalgia right here. Familiar w/ 80% of the games. Nice few co-op ones.

Arcade TIme Machine!
I remember these games when I used to ride my bike to the local pizza joint and spend my saved up quarters from lunch money afterschool. This collection brings me back to those simpler times. I know that some of the games may seem 'outdated' to some, but I bought this collection to appease my inner youth and it does that in spades! I wish there was a volume 2 for PS2!!

Not what I expected (Disappointed)
Not the titles I was looking or helping for when I purchased, since they don't described which games or titles come in it. So far KOF and Metal slug are the only ones worthy even tough you can't change any of the game settings and the games only plays half of the original full version of KOF and Metal Slug the rest are just garbage.

Metal Slugged by SNK
SNK was a huge company as far as arcade games go, and rightfully so. People, including myself, lauded over the machines for their smooth animation, detailed graphics and extremely fun gameplay. These games were so successful, in fact, that SNK released a home console that was "arcade perfect". The architecture of the system was identical to that of the arcade, and therefore made games without any of the slowdown that ports to systems like the Genesis or the SNES were subject to. Only problem: price tag. The Neo Geo home console ran for a price or around a thousand dollars, while the games were around 300. Even more, collectors will have a hard time apprehending a system now, since the cheapest i've seen one sell on ebay for was 250. Anyway, all that being said, SNK has finally ported all their major games to the PS2, and quite well, might I add. I've heard some reports of slowdown for the more intensive games, but I only had that on an HDTV. Plugging into a CRT, I have smooth animation and pure arcade bliss. The graphics are extremely detailed and the gameplay is undeniably fun. Metal Slug is one of the best games ever made, and King of fighters and Samurai Slowdown are both great fighters that should be on the same status as Street Fighter. In the end, let me just say this: If you enjoy fast paced, two-dimensional action, then this is a fantastic compilation you should have in your collection. If you like strategizing and thinking about what you are going to do, then you problably would prefer something like Halo or Warcraft.

What an Amazing Compilation
Sometimes the fanboy in me just gets to me when I play a game like this. I fondly remember playing SNK NEO GEO machines at my local Minature Golf place when I was a kid. (now its a parking lot). I cant believe sometimes that I am play Arcade perfect games in my house on my 42 LCD screen. Metal Slug, Baseball stars, Magician Lord and Many others, its really a unbelievable thing. The only thing missing now is a Konami arcade compilation with The simpsons xmen and turtles. Buy this game. I cant stress this enough. My wife and 7 year old daughter play Metal Slug every night its so fun.
