This release also features an exclusive "MLBPA Big League Challenge" mode, based on the Las Vegas contest and featuring 12 MLB superstars in competitions and exhibitions of talent and skill. This PlayStation 2 version makes use of the console's higher processing power to provide superior graphics and smooth animation. I grew up playing the Triple Play series on PC and always enjoyed it however when I was fortunate to stumble upon a copy of this game I was overjoyed at the chance to play an installment of the series I didn't even know existed! The graphics are quite good for early PS2, the control is fluid and the great Big League Challenge Home Run Derby tournament is still present. For modern gamers it may not hold water being over ten years old and thus feeling extremely outdated, but I enjoy the heck out of it and so should any good baseball video game fan.

Was very pleased...
As a woman I do not know much about these gaming systems, but my husband thinks that the older games (blue backs) will not play on his newer playstaion 2 console. I was VERY impressed with the quality of the CD and case. I would definately do business with you again. I will also be sure to ask about the backing next time though :D
What a game!
This game is awesome. You have to love the home run derby boards. Maybe the graphics aren't to notch compared to todays newer games, but overall the game is fun.
