I was worried about getting a used DS. But I love it. It looks almost brand new the batter lasts forever and it’s a perfect buy. I couldn’t be happier.

A Versatile Gaming System
I'd wanted a DS for a long time so when I was facing several weeks of bedrest, I decided to go ahead and get one to help me pass the time and avoid boredom. It is very versatile....there are games available for all ages and interests. It's easy to use and the graphics are clear. My only complaint is that it sometimes misinterprets what I write on the screen and "credits" me with a wrong answer, which can affect the outcome of the games. I've changed the screen pressure, but that didn't help. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this game system and look forward to getting more games for it.
great.. warning
this is the second ds lite ive purchased but this one is for my sister who needs a replacement on her pokepark original ds the hinges reallllllly like to crack and break on these my own ds lite [polar white, got it when it was released in the US] cracked on the hinge and a piece broke off. since im cheap, i decided to buy a new housing shell, game slot, and touch screen to just refurbish it myself. love the product, but be careful. that hinge area is really weak and i would suggest a hard case or at least be really careful i took off a star because ive seen so many kids with screens hanging off thanks to that problem
Great Product Albiet Somewhat Overpriced. (Still Worth It)
I bought this for my wife, and it had battery problems initially, due to its first charge taking over 3 times as long as what mine did back in 2005~6 (I'll attribute that to an old battery) however, it works flawlessly after we charged it for about 36 hours (charging time is back to what you would expect now also) i could have gotten a cheaper one, however i didn't want to pay less and then get a cheap Chinese knock off, (granted the Chinese ones work, but their colors are strange/off and some of the hardware is weird and, or warped). anyway aside from the seller making off like a bandit :P (joke) everything is perfect.
My overview of the Nintendo DS Lite
I bought the Nintendo DS Lite so I can easily trade between Pokemon games. The battery life is better when used on the second lowest and lowest lighted screen settings than the original DS. It has one flaw over the original DS system. The Start and select buttons are the smallest made for all of Nintendo's handheld systems which is not a very good thing, this also makes it harder to reach and press the buttons too. This also hurts my fingers a little bit the more you have to use the Pause buttons using the start button. The stylus however is in a better spot and has a larger diameter than the stylus on the original DS. The lighted screens make the games more visible to play.
