Good graphics
Fun
Good value
Demo Kiosk Version
To head off any confusion this is the exact same as the retail copy. It is v 1.0 the same released to the public. The only difference being said is it carrying the "Not For Retail" on its front sticker makes the value almost 20x the time of a regular copy. When looking for a copy, I personalty like to have the back sticker, however, the front label is what commands the money. Make sure you receive one in halfway decent shape. The NFR market is not for everyone. I specifically got into it because I have a full N64 collection and I wanted to add more. This game is best played with the expansion pack. With only the jumper pack the textures are really grainy and not layered as nice. You will not be getting amazing graphics into today's systems. Us old Farts who grew up on NES, SNES thought this system was the most amazing thing to hit the market ever. It is still a classic game from 1999 that is worth playing if you love Star Wars (don't have to be a fan of Episode 1) or any racing movie.

Best purchase I've ever made on here
The console looks almost brand new. No scuffs or marks or any signs of heavy use at all. It plays perfectly and the controllers are good too :) The purple controller had signs of heavier use and the joystick is a little loose but it still responds perfectly with no delay . I'm very happy with my purchase!

Adapters
When I bought my Nintendo 64. I was not aware when I began to purchase it. I did not see any information on that it was going to be Japanese components. So my American game would not fit into it. So I made an extreme search 4 in adapter. Or a converter. That would let me play My American game on in Japanese Nintendo 64 console. But they do have on eBay a region free replacement slot! Which is very difficult to get to the Japanese slot inside the console. You can get the tools that you need for those snap cap screws in the bottom of the console. Good luck to anyone buying hey Japanese console. Not to mention my controller everything is good on it except the joystick!

N64 a pleasant surprise for this longtime-Gamecube newbie
Graphics on the N64 are certainly better than expected, coming from a frequent Gamecube player and new N64 player. The Gamecube graphics can be a harsh step back from modern day HD gaming, but if you are already accustomed to them, then the N64 is fairly comparable to those most times (Goldeneye 007 multiplayer not withstanding). Expansion Pak is an eventual necessity if you want to play games like Perfect Dark, DK 64, and TLOZ, so picking one up early is a plus. Controllers work great, though one of mine was damaged in transit. Having multiple is a must, playing with friends is best way to experience some of these games. All in all, a worthwhile purchase. Will not regret splurging a bit for fun-tastic series colors in the long run.

Beautifully designed nostalgic console
I've always wanted a N64 as a kid but choose the Playstation 1. Now I'm 33 and learning Japanese and get to finally find a reason to get myself an N64. It's such a beautifully designed console. The Japanese box-art alone is beautiful. Though the graphics as of 2020 don't live up to how they may have looked in 1996, they still are perfect on a CRT TV if you can get your hands on one. As a collector's item I highly recommend the N64.
