NFL Blitz is a fast-paced arcade football game by the creators of NBA Jam. Among the changes to the traditional sport are seven-on-seven matchups, first downs equaling 30 yards, the clock stopping after every play, and no penalties or substitutions. The NFL and NFLPA license are included, meaning you'll play as or against one of 30 NFL teams with real players. Blitz is filled with exaggerated moves like super high jumps, crushing tackles and late hits, plus you can choose between 18 offensive or nine defensive plays. The Nintendo 64 version adds Season Play, player rosters reflecting the 1998 season, Rumble Pak support, and an exclusive Play Editor that can save up to nine custom plays to the Controller Pak. An interesting feature is that these plays can later be downloaded to a NFL Blitz 99 arcade unit for more football mayhem. |

Got what I ordered.
Used is always a gamble. I am glad this game worked on the first try. It does freeze every now and then. Overall I am satisfied that the product I received was what was promised.

awesome throw back!!
saw this blitz game and the memories came flying back. then seeing it was in its original box I new I needed it. im so proud of this game in collection. thank you four bring these memories back, and to all that read this know it was fast shipped and packed well!!!!

CLASSIC!, A FAVORITE FOR ANY FOOTBALL FAN
If your into sports games then more than likely you have heard of NFL Blitz. Available in 2 player this game is the front runner of the Blitz game line up. What makes it so awesome for a game of it's time is how easy it is to adapt to the gameplay so for someone who has never played it they can get used to it with relative ease. Another neat feature of the game is the design your own play option, where you constructed from scratch your very own play and make sure only you can access it with the 4 digit pin code that keeps your little brother from sneaking a look at your plays. Bottom Line: This game is loads of fun

WAY funner than Madden or NCAA!
The original Blitz is one of the best games ever in my opinion. It's sports gaming done right. I don't know about all of you, but I hate playing a sports game where you have to wait a minute or two before each play, in Blitz it's super-fast action! When one play is over the next starts in less than five seconds. But be warned! This game is only really fun as a mulitplayer game, when you and a buddy are playing this, the time flies by! You'll play game after game after game having tons and tons of fun. And even after all these years, I prefer this over Madden 09 with all its flashy graphics and what-not, because its just pure fun. And for variety it has a play making option to mix it up with your buddies and make some trick plays, plus theres tons of hilarious cheats that are fun to try out. If you're even the least bit of a sports fan and action video game fan, get this game! It's AWESOME!

Jared Froeber is better than Eric Hansen at blitz.
so... my friends Jared Froeber and Eric Hansen both got Blitz and both love it... i never hang out with both these people normally at the same time at my house... but i decided for them to have a face off because they both thought they were THE GREATEST BLITZ PLAYER EVER. anyways... they played a bunch of games of Blitz together and Eric Hansen won only one of them i think... i was surprised because Eric Hansen has these super motor skills that make him good at ANYTHING he touches... so... Eric Hansen is standing up and yelling at the screen and everything... but its not doing anything to his score and we are all laughing... Jared Froeber ended up beating him 111 to 56. Eric Hansen needs to get better at Blitz. anyways... its a great game. buy it.
