Good graphics
Compelling gameplay
Good value
Last Mortal Kombat game on Playstation 2!
This is the last Mortal Kombat ever on the Playstation 2! This game has just about every mortal kombat character made for this game. You also get to create a character and create finishing moves as well. Also you can play a mario cart stlye game which has blood and gore! This game has a adventure game in it. You and a friend can go through the game like a double dragon game. Great Graphics, Sound, Modes, And Gameplay! Controls are still the same as previous Mortal Kombat games. There all combo style. Muliple buttons to hit in order to see each characters moves and finishers. That's the only problem I have ever had with the series. I hope in future Mortal Kombat games, they will make the controls for casual gamers easier while still keep it normal for veterans. Madden 09 made this transition. So anybody could get in the game without feeling frustated.
Good Game!
I primarily bought this game because I'm a mortal kombat nut. I've always enjoyed the series ever since I saw it in the arcade when I was five. This latest installment is like a thank you from the producers to all the fans out there. I definitely wouldn't reccomend it to a beginner MK player and definitely not to one that has never played a fighting game before. The fighting styles are cleaned up in this MK. In the first three dimentional MK game for the GCN, PS2, and X-Box, Mortal Kombat: Dadly Alliance, there were two fighting styles and a weapon per character. In this game, there is only one fighting style and one weapon for each and every fighter. And I mean EVERY fighter! Every character from the MK series is in Armageddon, including Meat, the zombie with no skin which cameoed in a minigame in the original MK. Also the new motor kombat game is very fun and challenging, Mario Kart fans will love it. The new kreate-a-fighter mode is fun because you can make anything from really cool characters to insanely stupid chatacters. However, some of the game's faults are that it's hard to hit your opponents into death traps, something that was much easier in MK Deception; also the Kreate-a-fatality mode sounded cool in the MKA trailer, but it does lose it's appeal after figuring out an eleven hit fatality. Nevertheless, for veteran MK players, I highly reccomend it just for the fun of having the fat cop Stryker beat up the little known purple ninja Rain.
Awesome game
The game is amazing, I mean come on mortal Kombat is a classic. My little nephew was so happy about this game. The only problem I have with this product was the package the disk holder is damaged therefore making it hard to hold the disk. That is the only problem, which can cause problems for the disk due to it not being secure when stored.

Best mortal kombat yet? i think so.
This game is the final one of the series for current generation consoles. the next batch of mortal kombat games will land on the newer systems, including Xbox 360, PS3, and nintendo Wii. i personally think this is one of the best games in the whole series. with over 60 fighters to choose from, a make your own fighter mode with millions of possibilities, a brand new fatality system where you create your own string of combos to finish off your opponent. and a fun new side game, Motor Kombat, which is a lot like the old mario kart games with mortal kombat fighters as racers, and MK related tracks. its a very fun diversion. also the games is playable ONLINE! so you can make your dream fighter and take it online to see how good he really is. if you purchase the Premium version you get an extra DVD with a movie called "the history of fatalities" where the creators of the game talk about the fatalities from the very first mortal kombat right up to the last game, armeggedon. also on that disc, is the "cards" that are bios on most of the fighters. you also get another bonus, the game UMK3 (ultimate mortal kombat 3) thats playable. not online though. there are over 30 arenas to play in, lots of new ones and some old ones. some fun new death traps. and enough content to keep you busy for many many months. i very much reccomend this game.
to my knowledge probably the best MK
I know people might be like what? He aint played mk9/mkx?nawh i aint for some reasons i can only play vgs for a lil while without feelin sick but i played mka just let me tell u this game is the sh-t i really love the make your own character mode the only prob i is i wish the characters could switch up their fighting styles like the previous mkg but its no gigantic deal to me so goro and i give it👍👍👍👍👍👍thumbs up
