Gamers return to the post-apocalyptic subways and catacombs beneath Moscow to scavenge for resources, battle twisted mutants, and contend with the territorial nature of man in Metro: Last Light. Set one year after Metro 2033, and picking up from that game's "bad" ending, players join survivor Artyom as he searches for a mysterious prisoner who is said to be the key to humanity's survival. His trek takes gamers from the twisted subway ruins, where different factions vie for control of each metro station, to mutant-infested transition zones, and to the violently toxic surface. Supplies are rare and valuable in Metro: Last Light, with gas masks being absolutely essential, most weapons cobbled together from various parts, and ammo scarce enough to actually become the currency of the subways. Light and shadow are also key to the action, with players using a hand-crank flashlight, a lighter, and torches to illuminate dark corridors and keep mutants at bay, while a special wristwatch lets them know how much oxygen they have and if enemies can see them. Gamers carry three customizable guns at a time, and while the action is linear, players can often choose to engage in direct assaults or use stealth to sneak past trouble zones. This Limited Edition offers an exclusive in-game weapon, 100 military-grade bullets (currency) and Ranger Mode which is designed to offer more of a challenge by removing the HUD and making ammo far more difficult to obtain. |

Great graphics for Ps 3, game was short in my opinion. Very Dark in spots .
Good FPS , interesting home made guns. Scoped pistol and shotgun are your friends. Ammo is currency so auto guns not economical.

Great Game! Wish it lasted longer! Great Value!
I'm loving this game! Always been a fan of the Metro series and after getting a copy of the 2nd title in the video game series I have only ONE issue: The mission intervals are too short. I loved the long drawn out missions from the first game, and am saddened that now I can run-and-gun through a level in less than ten minutes. Otherwise, a wise purchase!

For shooter fans a must!
Definitely a must play for fans of shooters and first person action.The atmosphere is top notch and the npcs are aplenty with so much dialogue in scenes and eavesdropping on characters going thru their routines show the care and time that was put into so much of this game to bring the rich atmosphere. The guns pack the needed punch and there is much variety to the purchasing and some upgrading/spending of found currency. A fun romp and good story.you will marvel at all the nice touches to specific levels as well as enjoy the killer stealth that a lot of levels provide.Everything is done really well!
