Hideo Kojima's complex saga starring the iconic Snake returns with more open-world exploration and online multiplayer action in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Set in 1984, nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes, the action finds Snake in Soviet-occupied Afghanistan attempting to track down the mysterious Cipher intelligence network that sent him into a coma, and rescue his friend Kazuhira Miller from Soviet forces. Metal Gear Online 3 is also included in The Phantom Pain to let up to 16 gamers compete in a variety of multiplayer modes on large, open maps. The Phantom Pain continues the franchise's signature stealth-action gameplay, with players possessing maps, binoculars, and the beloved cardboard box to avoid detection, and non-lethal weapons like tranquilizer darts to end conflicts quietly. Of course, some encounters require a more violent resolution, and Snake is once again equipped with powerful weapons, grenades, and close-quarters combat skills. The expanded open-world environments open up new gameplay options, including traveling on horseback, scaling rock faces, requesting helicopter support, and getting help from new AI allies like Quiet the sniper, and the trained wolf D.D. Realistic day/night cycles and weather patterns have been introduced to give the action more variety, and several features from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker have been resurrected and upgraded in The Phantom Pain. Players can once again build a home base and use resources they collect while exploring to upgrade Snake's weapons and abilities, and the Fulton surface-to-air recovery system returns to let gamers transport items, animals, vehicles, and captured foes back to the base. |

Squeezes Everything Out of Your 360
The most sophisticated game on the Xbox 360 I've personally played, MGS V is beautiful, immersive, and brutally challenging. Voice acting is great, controls are excellent, and the world isn't just open but how you play the game is open too. If you want to be John Rambo be John Rambo if you see yourself more as a ninja then be a ninja the game will let you decide how to play but... IT IS NO WALK IN THE PARK the games challenge sort of brings me back to the days of the old NES where you don't just walk through levels because you "did what you are suppose to do" timing, reflexes, and game world awareness are essential for whatever style of play you are choosing... that's why being like a ninja who is also happens to be John Rambo (or Chuck Norris) is probably the best way to play (and that my friends is called skill and it doesn't come easy another words this game is hard.

One of the greatest games I have played.
Should have got this game sooner it is really good. Open world, lots of customization for the main character Big Boss, LOTS of missions which I love. Speaking of missions it is entirely up to you how you want to complete them, go in guns blazing, or use stealth, you can choose what time to infiltrate the mission, you can get help from the soilders you recruit, build your own base and steal resources to make it stronger. The Phantom Pain is a very deep game worth getting.

Great cheap price for a game worth losing time in.
I love the series of Metal Gear Solid and for the price I got it for, should be a steal! I'm grateful to have stumbled upon this deal and look forward to more titles being cheap too. I recommend this game!

I consider this probably the best installment in the series the open World gameplay the controls the weapons everything about this game I love it's hard for me to put it down the only thing that it would make it better is if it was VR

great game!
i wanted to play this when it released but had money issues so now i bought it so cheap and sealed, the game is great the only complain i have is every time you want to do anything from the menu its looooooaaaaaaadiiiiing times are ridiculous
