Electronic Arts' acclaimed World War II series returns for another tour of duty on Game Boy Advance, this time under the command of a new developer offering a different play style. Rather than attempt the same type of shooter introduced in Medal of Honor: Underground for the handheld, U.K.-developer HotGen Studios has combined go-anywhere overhead action with first-person sequences played from a fixed-screen perspective. The static viewpoint allows for more detail in the environments and enemies than would be possible if a 3D engine were used. Cast in the role of Corporal Jake Murphy, players must prepare to embark on five missions patterned after actual WWII battles. Murphy will be able to use machine guns, grenades, and even bazookas during his missions, as well as climb aboard a tank. As in previous Medal of Honor games, players will don disguises to slip past patrolling guards, sabotage key buildings and installations, and capture personnel crucial to the war effort. Two-player competitive action via Game Link Cable is supported, as is connectivity with Medal of Honor: Rising Sun on GameCube, which transforms the handheld into a real-time mapping device. |

Great GBA game: controls Solid and Great overall AI
This game was indeed a good Bga game. The gameplay, Enemy AI, and control scheme was all great. The gameplay was great in a way where you use a bit of tactics, not run and gun everybody. You can use the environment for protection and the weapon house was a real good idea. The AI was not stupid but not einstein like with no reload time and constantly shooting. Their AI was overall well-balanced, though sometimes a bit tough. The control scheme was great for a GBA game. The switch weapons part, the stance button (good idea),and the rest was well planned.Weapons hut was a great idea and the weapon "packs" were well- designed.The medical hut was a great addition. -The good : Gameplay was great with good gameplay elements(machine gun implacements,etc.), the AI was brilliantly done (not stupid/but not Einstein), the control scheme for the GBA was well-done along with a stance button(emphasis on it)and the weapon scheme was great. -The bad: AI gets a bit to tough at spots, the checkpoint respawn a little off key, MORE WEAPON TYPES PLEASE, maybe some troops along with you for help,and need to have a customizable control scheme just in case. _ I ould definetly get this game for the GBA. The GBA needed more titles like this.
I must say I was really impressed with this game. First off it has full motion video! I'm not kidding either. The gameplay is also just like Medal of honor except it's an overhead shooters and the characters are smaller and a little cartoonish in nature. You can get more weapons, you have TNT, grenades, and you're required to think on the fly. This game is a lot of fun and we needed more shooters like this for the good old GBA.

Easy but hard
The game is easy because all you do is run around or sneak and kill people, but that is a lot easier said than done. Also the multiplayer (link cable) is fun with friends

By far best shooter for GBA
Well I have to say they did an amazing job on this game. As a kid it was my favorite but for some stupid reason I got rid of it then recently I've been collecting gameboys and missed it so I got it, and it is just amazing especially for the time. Its got action you run around and shoot choose weapons and it can be really challenging. My least favorite part is the lack of weapons, you only get american guns. Not a problem though its fun and well desinged. Some levels you are running around others you are a tail gunner 2D type shooter. Now days its cheap so why not try it?

Great Game
I bought this game for my son who loves games of this type.In fact,I went looking to buy this game because it was the one he wanted.It is a great game that makes him have to think and plan things out.It truly keeps him occupied!!
